| - Clumsy's vision rock is an item Clumsy had found in the Smurf Forest in the cartoon show episode "Clumsy Smurfs The Future". It is a pink rock that lets whoever found it see a future event. However, the rock only shows future events at random, so the owner has no control to actively see a future event. Clumsy found the vision rock while digging for roots, which initially showed him himself with a broken pick. Clumsy disregarded the vision and threw the rock away before he continued digging until he broke his pick. Realizing that the vision in the rock came true, Clumsy returned to the village to show Papa Smurf, but he was less interested in the rock than in Clumsy finding more special roots for his experiments. The other Smurfs weren't interested in the rock either until Clumsy saw a vision of Greedy throwing out his goodies and predicted it, with the other Smurfs laughing until they did see Greedy throwing out his goodies, saying that he goofed and baked them with salt instead of sugar. Then the rock showed Smurfette's house sinking into the ground, which Hefty scoffed at since he built the house, until he saw it actually happening for himself. Papa Smurf finally learned of Clumsy's rock and recognized it for what it was, allowing him to keep the rock but also warning the Smurfs not to let themselves get carried away by their desire to see the future. However, the temptation of wanting to see their future was so great, Brainy had to step in as Clumsy's official manager to deal with those seeking their questions of the future. Soon, however, Papa Smurf had Clumsy put away the rock and sent his little Smurfs out to do important village chores. As they go to do their chores, Smurfette is captured by Gargamel, but instead of the Smurfs immediately coming to her rescue, they had Clumsy consult the rock, and the rock showed him a vision that Smurfette was safe and sound in the village. The Smurfs decided from the vision not to rescue Smurfette, leaving her to manage escaping from Gargamel by herself, which didn't make her or Papa Smurf all that happy to hear about. Seeing the trouble that the rock has caused, Papa Smurf had Clumsy turn over control of the rock and told his little Smurfs to prepare for the storm coming while he went out into the forest to collect rare pollens. As Brainy and Clumsy went to fix Papa Smurf's leaky roof, Clumsy saw a vision in the rock through the window that there will be blue skies ahead. Brainy interpreted the vision as meaning there will be no rain and had the other Smurfs abandon their tasks to have a picnic by the river. However, when the rain started in the middle of the picnic, the Smurfs thought that Clumsy's vision was entirely wrong and rushed to the village, with Clumsy hoping to fix Papa Smurf's roof before water leaked in. Unfortunately, the leak caused a reaction with Papa Smurf's chemicals and created a green deluge that nearly carried the Smurfs into the river had Papa Smurf not come in time and dump the pollens he had collected into the green deluge, causing it to dissipate. Clumsy saw the rock fall into the river just before he grabbed onto a Smurf and was pulled to safety.
