Tommy Körberg is a Swedish singer and actor. He is best known to English-speaking audiences for his role as Anatoly/"The Russian" in the musical Chess, a role he has played on many occasions, including in London's West End. He also played Jean Valjean in the Swedish production of Les Misérables, and was invited to participate in the finale of the musical's 10th anniversary concert in 1995 along with 16 other Valjean actors from around the world who sang lines of "Do You Hear the People Sing?" in their native languages.

  • Tommy Körberg is a Swedish singer and actor. He is best known to English-speaking audiences for his role as Anatoly/"The Russian" in the musical Chess, a role he has played on many occasions, including in London's West End. He also played Jean Valjean in the Swedish production of Les Misérables, and was invited to participate in the finale of the musical's 10th anniversary concert in 1995 along with 16 other Valjean actors from around the world who sang lines of "Do You Hear the People Sing?" in their native languages. A two time Eurovision participant, he represented his home country at the 1969 and 1988 Contests, finishing in 9th and 12th place respectively. In 2011, he was one of three judges on Swedish reality TV singing competition "True Talent", which was cancelled after one season. Two years later, he made a third attempt at Eurovision by competing at Melodifestivalen with the group Ravaillacz but they finished in 10th place in the final.
