Insecticons! Love them or hate them, they're a strange thematic bunch of Decepticons with insect altmodes. Their insectoid modes are quite mechanical in appearance, and while resembling large arthropods they always feature very robotic parts, such as wheels, mounted weapons, and other mechanical features. A key feature they all share is the ability to ingest matter and convert it into energy. The deceased original three Insecticons could each clone themselves, but this mysterious ability is not shared by other Insecticons.
