He held small honor among his people, since his role would have normally been held by a woman. His clan incorrectly believed that his powers were inferior due to his gender. Rainhet, the woman who was Mhaig before him, had disappeared and been was slain by the Ghost warriors of the Ghost-Caves while gathering herbs. She had trained no successor, and Solofhen's skills made him the only individual at all suitable for her position. His hair was sparse, white, and tangled; his skin was leathery and creased in innumerable wrinkles; and his trembling limbs barely supported his aged body. He could offer adventurers scrolls that would protect them from wraiths, and holy symbols that put spirits to rest forever. The conjurer's popularity had grown since the Ghosts had started marauding, but he lived in a secluded circular hut on the edge of Daighen. Dressed in brown robes with a hood over his straggling hair, the tiny, old man. 5'2" tall, spoke in a low rasping voice. He was hesitant to offer help unless need could be proved. He trembled with a nervous disorder, which, despite his magical skills, he could not cure. Adventurers obtained a real sense of fear of the Ghost-caves when Solofhen spoke of them. His pale, blue eyes seemed never to focus on anyone, resting instead on terrible, unseen spectres from his past.
