Such was the fate of House Yazaki and Azai Kura Yazaki. Image:Yukimura-sw3-art.jpg On the fields of Nagashi Ranmaru a great battle took place between many rival Houses. The warriors of House Yazaki were assigned the privileged position of bodyguards to their local Count. They were far away from the battle-field when the fighting began and unable to turn the tide as the conflict quickly turned against them. Their noble Count became frightened and fled for his life, racing away from the battle-field and disgracing his honor. The warriors of House Yazaki surrendered in shame. Their leader, Azai Kura Yazaki, was executed for the crimes and dishonor of his commander, the fleeing Count of Serreno. A Count, who was later reinstated with honor because of an insidious bribe. Kata Kura Yazaki, a Yazaki Warrior at the time, was present for the execution of his father. He watched his father die for the cowardly acts of another and he hated it more than any man present. Kata Kura Yazaki had served alongside his father as a soldier since he was a boy. Living the life of a noble warrior and bringing honor and service to the Yazaki household. It was his way. It was his life. House Yazaki passed to another leader, an uncle of Kata Kura, the esteemed Kenshi Sakuro Yazaki. Kata Kura was then given orders to return to his families home. He was given time off. But by the time he returned, his families home was burned to the ground and destroyed. Burned to eliminate the guilt of a cowardly Count. Kata Kura was devastated. Now he had truly lost everything. The only remaining heir to House Yazaki kept his whereabouts hidden and is currently presumed dead. It was funny really. He had lived his whole life to smite injustice and bring order. Only now, He finds himself on the wrong side of the law.Family Father: Azai Kura Yazaki. The late lord of House Yazaki.
