| - Coniston was a town in Northeastern Ontario, Canada. It is now part of Greater Sudbury.
- Conixton is a simclose to the northeastern corner of the Hidden Lakes. It is surrounded by Windermere (W), Derwent (SW), Keswick (S), Buttermere (SE), Langdale (E) and Moses (NE). THere are no sims to the north and northwest of Coniston. Apart from the Linden Road passing through the south of the sim and the Linden Waterway running along the northern sim edge, the entire sim has a single owner and seems to have had that for a while (althoguh not the same owner all the time).

Today Coniston is the center of Greater Coniston, a project intending to create a themed Northern English style landscape across the sim and significant parts of the neighbour ones.
