Banstead Marks and Spencer's bus stop is situated at the western end to Banstead high street. Being situated just outside the London borough of Sutton it still has benefits of living in London. Such as two frequent bus routes which are the S1/166 routes. Though confusing to use for the tourists coming to sea the lavender fields in the border between Banstead and sutton. As the S1s northern terminus is a residential estate in Mitcham called 'Lavander Fields', the unsuspect tourists that have just got of the train at Banstead and got the 166 to Banstead. Then board the S1 all the way to a estate in south London. I assume not really what they wanted to see? When in actual fact must get on the 166 orth bound to west croydon where the bus will alight just outside the lavender fields at the bus

  • Banstead Marks and Spencer's bus stop is situated at the western end to Banstead high street. When in actual fact must get on the 166 orth bound to west croydon where the bus will alight just outside the lavender fields at the bus stop named 'Oaks Park'. Banstead has great connection either by rail or bus from here. With the S1 being as frequent as ever 15mins, it's a great way to get to suTeton and other nearby places, the 420/820 also serves the high street, but this is a non TfL bus, so oyster and other TfL bus passes are not accepted on these routes. The village also has a good connection to London via a every half hour train at peak times, buses to Sutton and west croydon where you can get London overground. The 166 also serves the village. Though like the S1 terminates here, though once an hour a bus will extend to Epsom hospita. You may be thinking oh that's good, everyone gets a bus now. Though in fact it not! This is due to the fact the 166 is a daily bus route but on the last part of route passing through Nork, its monday to Saturday only, and no late everning/ early morning services either. What's most frustrating is that the Epsom section is a popular section, especially at the end of a school day, where if you are in Epsom you may as well forget the 15:29 bus to croydon,. In conclusion this is a rubbish bus stop. The infrastructure on the Epsom bound side is crap, and the service is crap. With a increased frequency of Epsom bound buses the stop will quiclh Improve
