Melee Attacks - Higher levels generally represent greater martial skill or the added damage potential of a weapon. 0 -- No damage. 1 -- Something that hurts, but generally doesn't do any lasting damage. 2 -- Hurts more, potentially knocks you back. 3 -- A solid, painful hit. 4 -- A serious whack. Like an elbow to the face. This is the kind of hit that might even knock someone down. Also the level generally used for knives or other stuff that you're going to need stitches for. 5 -- Again, a solid hit that might knock you down, but probably not out. Light melee weapons. The sting of a whip, a quick cut from a sword. 6 -- Serious, crowd-pleasin' hits. Generally the most damage an average guy can do with his bare hands. Or a club, a chair, a minibot in arms reach. 7 -- M

Energy-Axes, Broad-Swords, Chainsaws... If he's down a good stomp to the chest will do just as well. Pure brutality. 10 -- The Crush. Not the standard fare for mere mortals. We're talking Grimlock jumping on you from out of a shuttle, or Devastator practicing his tap-dance lessons on your head. Ranged Attacks - Higher levels represent bigger weapons. Note: ranged weapons below level 3 are ineffective on medium and low settings. 3 -- Light Pistols 4 -- Light energy weapons or Average Pistols. 5 -- Weapons with some impact. Sub-machine-guns. Sonics. 6 -- Heavier energy weapons and rifles. 7 -- High-output energy weapons, Explosives, Assault Rifles. 8 -- Missiles, Artillery, Rail-Guns (big crater-makers) 10 -- Cannons (Big cannons. EFC, level-a-city-block kind of cannons.)
