| Synopsis
| - Wolverine manages to escape the S.H.I.E.L.D. bunker using his wits and avoids the incoming helicopter, thanks to a coat and hat that was left for him. As he wonders who left him the articles of clothing, he wonders who would go through all the trouble to help him, or set him up. The answer: his son, who watches the events unfold from a bar across the street. When Wolverine’s son makes it home, he is confronted by his girlfriend who accuses him of lying to her. She knows that he didn’t go on a business trip. She saw him with another man, kissing him. He tells her that’s not all he did to her, leaving out the details that he killed the man. As his girlfriend laments the decisions she made, he tells her the whole story. He set her up from the beginning and has ultimately drugged her with sleeping tablets. As she fades into unconsciousness, he tells her that he is the inheritor of the Earth. In a farmhouse, young Milo has inadvertently snapped the family horse’s head off after it was mean to him. His mother understands, but the father does not. After he gets a bath and he is lying in bed, a voice begins to talk to Milo. The voice tells him that he will help him and that he will be his friend. When Milo asks him what his name is. The voice replies that he is Silas Burr… but he can call him Cyber.
