- Steel dragons are dragons whose scales are made of steel, hence the name. As with all dragons, they breathe fire and can easily deal 40 or more damage if players do not take precautions to protect from the dragons' firey attacks. Players should bring an Anti-fire shield or Dragonfire shield, though praying Protect from Magic or Deflect Magic will prevent the player from taking any damage from the flames. It's recommended for a player to use both methods. Doing so allows full protection from the flames, rather than partial from just using prayer or a shield. Thus, it is advisable to bring Prayer potions or Super restore potions to keep your prayer from running out.

Steel Dragons are level 246 and can be killed very easily with or without perfect ring as they dont always attack back.
