  • The chapter opens with Mikoto riding a bus towards the 'Tree Diagram', arriving at the 'Tree Diagram Information Reception Area'. Bypassing the security with her powers and scaling the walls, she enters the building. As she is running towards the building, she thinks about her plans of altering the Tree Diagram's predictions, in order to spare the lives of the 'Sisters'. We now see Yumi and Eiga both examining Misaka 10032, after her complaint of chest pain (Which was due to Mikoto asking her to go away). Misaka 10032 asks both scientists a hypothetical; What if they were to meet their own clone? Both respond negatively, leading to Misaka 10032 sigh despondently on the thought that Mikoto doesn't want her to exist, ignoring Misaka 10032's cat whilst walking past. She is later seen holding the cat with Touma, as the Accelerator approaches her from the alleyway. Mikoto, upon entering the Reception Area, notices that the facility is completely empty. Walking into the Central Reception Room, she hacks the database, reading the unanswered Tree Diagram questions from days and weeks past. The chapter ends with Mikoto reading a report, stating that the 'Tree Diagram' has been completely destroyed.
