  • “In the Liddell match up I have to go with youth. Shogun is more in his prime and stylistically it’s a bad match up for Chuck. One thing is always for sure though. Chuck always steps into the octagon ready to fight and he has the ability to change a fight with a single blow!” - Kevin on the Chuck-Shogun fight. “I see Rich Franklin winning a tough 3 round war. Both are very aggressive and like to stand and trade. It is definitely a great fight for the fans and I'm excited to see it as well!” - Kevin on the Franklin-Wanderlei fight.

I am most interested in the Silva match up. I believe Silva is the superior striker but I think that Leites has the ability to take him down and control the fight. Silva will have to keep his distance so he doesn’t get sucked in and eventually taken down.” - Kevin on the Leites-Anderson fight. “I see Rich Franklin winning a tough 3 round war. Both are very aggressive and like to stand and trade. It is definitely a great fight for the fans and I'm excited to see it as well!” - Kevin on the Franklin-Wanderlei fight. "I'm jacked up to see all of the fights but this one especially! I think it is going to be a war with Frank coming out on top. I believe his experience will help him stay out of danger and win by KO or decision." - Kevin further on the second Mir-Lesnar fight. “I think it is going to be a great fight but in the end I see Randy with his hand raised. He will be able to control the clinch game, defend Nog's take downs & I don't see Nog catching Randy from the bottom.” - Kevin on the Randy-Nog fight. "“Although I would love to see a stand up war between GSP and Hardy, I doubt its going to happen. I don't see GSP taking any chances with Hardy's power. He will look for his opening and take Hardy down early. From there GSP will wear him down and have his way with him. Hardy is very game and super tough though so I see him fighting like a warrior till the end!”" - Kevin on the GSP-Hardy fight. "Shogun wins decisively." - Kevin on the second Shogun-Coleman fight. "This will be a great fight. Brock is like a truck, but I think Frank still has the technique advantage. I see Frank winning by KO or submission."- Kevin on the second Mir-Lesnar fight.

Burns would then be nicknamed “The Killer”, a name he would later embrace. It is rumoured that Kevin Burns had a dark match in the Global Extreme Wrestling but the federation was too full and he failed to get in. He would briefly wrestle for Canadian Wrestling Fighting where he won the light- heavyweight championship. After the federation seized to exist he would wind up at the Universal Wrestling Alliance where he wrestled for several matches before getting bored and leaving by mutual consent. In 2001, on his 20th birthday he was signed to the World Revolutionary Wrestling Federation by President John Warren. He would then go make his longest stay in a wrestling federation. He became good friends with David Drake as they formed a friendly rivalry as they both competed for the WRWF Cruiserweight title. The two would go on to gain a reputation for their daredevil highflying moves and antics. Their friendship would see them team up as a tag team and have moderate success although they never won the tag team titles. Kevin Burns then caused controvesty when he stole the Hardcore title belt in the middle of the match between Mr. Hard Cardboard and Crazy Chinese Man, later claiming he did it because he thought “weapons should not be used in wrestling”. Him and Drake would then begin feuding would the pair Crazy Card (Mr. Hard Cardboard]] and Crazy Chinese Man). He gradually found himself as a lower carder when new President Kevin Rouser took over due to the fact that he did not favour the Cruiserweight division. Burns would then decide to leave, despite Rouser's attempts to convince him to stay.
