Arthur R. Wilson was a general in the United States Army during World War II. He was a recipient of the Army Distinguished Service Medal. He wrote an account of U.S. Army operations in North Africa titled Report of Operations in North Africa. Later, he also served in the Pacific Theater, as quartermaster, working to "infuse vigor into all supply activities in Australia". In 1945 he was conferred the Freedom of the City of Dijon.
