Darrell Lanigan is a former NASCAR driver from Union, KY. He made four starts in the Busch Series in his career.
His first three came in 1996, when he did a limited schedule for Triangle Racing. His first career start came at Darlington, where Lanigan started 30th. He ran the race well and came home with a 26th place finish. Lanigan only managed a 38th at Charlotte and 31st at Rockingham in his other two starts, meaning the Darlington run would be his best start and finish of the year.
Lanigan reappeared for one race in 2000, running the #61 IWX Pontiac in the spring race at Charlotte. Lanigan crashed to 38th after a 35th place start, meaning not only that the Darlington run would be his best career outing, it would be the only race he would ever finish.
