  • Torpedoes are self-guided nuclear bombs that home in on their target after launch. They are usually mounted on the nose of a ship, or its side, but still facing forward. Torpedoes are propelled by prolonged fission reactions which enable them to travel at tremendous speeds. They serve as potent anti-ship weapons on most warships. After 120,000 kilometers of ceaseless flight, it will detonate automatically.
  • The Torpedoes ability is defined as any vehicle that can shoot torpedoes in LEGO Batman: The Videogame. There are four types of torpedoes, that only work on exclusive vehicles: * Robin Torpedoes, which are only shot from Robin's Watercraft in water vehicle missions. * Penguin Torpedoes, which are only shot from Penguin's Submarine in water vehicle missions. * Bat Torpedoes, which are only shot from Batwing in sky vehicle missions. * Fear Torpedoes, which are only shot from The Scarecrow's Biplane in sky vehicle missions.
  • Torpedoes are slow but incredibly powerful missiles, which pack enough damage to destroy whole capital ships but are too slow to hit fighters. Torpedoes are mounted in the cruise disruptor/ torpedo mount. Only very heavy fighters and heavy fighter are able to carry the torpedo mount. Like all disposable items there are limited to 50 rounds. Be careful not to accelerate sharply after firing a torpedo, it's entirely possible to catch up to your own torpedo and blow yourself up.
