Charles Wesley Bennett (November 21, 1854 in New Castle, PA – February 24, 1927 in Detroit, MI) was a catcher in Major League Baseball. Bennett's career in baseball ended when he lost both his legs in a train accident. When the Detroit Tigers opened their new ballpark in 1896, they named it Bennett Park in honor of him.
