This is the general discussion page for the wiki! New founders should leave a nice welcome message and encourage new visitors and editors to leave a note to get the conversation started. I hope this is an ok place to put this. I have a question to other editors of Niftypedia about references. In short, I think it's very important to point out where information in pages comes from. As a reader of niftypedia, if I see some point about a character I didn't know before, I want to be able to go read that comic to refresh my memory. As I see it, there are two ways of doing this:

As a reader of niftypedia, if I see some point about a character I didn't know before, I want to be able to go read that comic to refresh my memory. As I see it, there are two ways of doing this: 1. * External links to sluggy.com. This is the way I did Sasha, for example. This has the advantage of being a simple link that takes the reader directly to the comic in question. 2. * Links to the relevant chapter or subchapter in Storylines. This has the advantage of linking within the wiki, and a person can quickly see where in the story something occurred, and other events around the same time, without leaving the wiki. In particular, it seems a little silly to put external links to sluggy.com in a subchapter page: the person can just go to that subchapter: most don't have more than 3 weeks worth of comics. So what do you all think? What is good Niftypedia style: to link to the sluggy.com page, or to link to the storyline in the wiki? I fixed the three affected pages, so the redirect at "Corisca" is no longer necessary. - DrGaellon (talk | contribs) 16:44, May 26, 2013 (UTC) Hi, I've started a project on character infoboxes for all characters. First character to get the treatment was Sam Sein, and I've put the infobox on a few others. The idea is to have a quick, standardised sum-up of all characters. I wanted to have the pictures of the charachters inside their infoboxes, but have failed so far. If anyone know how to implement images in an infobox, please fix this.
