The Die Hard franchise is a series of American action films that follow NYPD Officer John McClane (Bruce Willis), a man who always finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time, from the seizure of Nakatomi Plaza in L.A., to the attacks on Dulles International Airport in D.C., and the heist of the NYC Depository. The films began with the original Die Hard in 1988, and has continued, with the fourth and current film, Old Habits Die Hard, released to theaters May 16, 1997.
