  • From cover hold the Shoot button to fire continously.
  • Blindfiring is a technique used in all three Gears of War games, as well real warfare and a plethora of other games. It is done by raising one's gun around or over their cover and firing, enabling one to fire without leaving the relative safety of cover. The drawback is the blindfirer cannot see exactly where he is aiming, rendering the technique highly inaccurate. In Gears of War, blind firing is most effectively done with an automatic weapon (such as the Lancer), or a close range weapon (such as the Gnasher). One can blind-throw grenades the same way as a weapon, which can also prove effective.
  • Blind Fire is a special mission in the next Bloons Tower Defense game. In this mission, you must complete the first fifty rounds of the game (starting with $5000), but all towers that you place are immediately blinded and cannot see where they are supposed to attack. Therefore, they will keep shooting randomly in a circle, and will not target any specific bloons. However, in each round, you can help one tower to shoot in the right direction, by pointing it in whatever direction you want it to fire (moving it like a Dartling Gun). You can't help the same tower two rounds in a row. Towers that do not attack will simply have their effects turn on and off randomly, because they aren't sure what they're doing. If you complete the mission, you get $200 Monkey Money.
