- "After the Fall" was long-running story arc in the Angel and comics from IDW Publishing. After Brian Lynch's work on several Spike miniseries had impressed Joss Whedon; they collaborated on a canonical comic book continuation of the Angel television series. This story was originally published as Angel: After the Fall. After its seventeen issue run, IDW Publishing chose to continue this series beyond the Joss-plotted story, therefore these later issues are noncanon. Beside the main series, the story arc also featured in a Spike mini-series.

He then remembers his day and how he got to be at the bar.
