Cosmoniks are Adamists who have spent much of their lives in free-fall conditions, and have slowly replaced atrophied or damaged organs and body parts with mechanical substitutes. Cosmoniks will often, for example, include sockets for a variety of tools in their arms, an independent oxygen supply to allow them to work in vacuum without a suit, and a reinforced skeleton to resist high G forces. In some cases this can transform a cosmonik into little more than a free-floating utility spacecraft with a brain at the center, though most cosmoniks retain something like a humanoid shape. Many cosmoniks are unique in design and appearance. Cosmoniks are similar to combat boosted, who have modified themselves for combat in much the same way.
