A Savant Scion, colloquially known as a Scion, referred to a Voidborn neophyte, usually a child through to late adolescence to early adulthood, who had been initiated into the Savant Caste of the Charon Dominion. Scions were the most inexperienced of the Savants and were not initially taught to wield the Void until they were more physically mature. Once they completed their studies, Scions were elevated into one of three branches of the Savant Caste; Templars, Ghosts and Eldars.

  • A Savant Scion, colloquially known as a Scion, referred to a Voidborn neophyte, usually a child through to late adolescence to early adulthood, who had been initiated into the Savant Caste of the Charon Dominion. Scions were the most inexperienced of the Savants and were not initially taught to wield the Void until they were more physically mature. Scions were typically subjected to educational curriculum, such as history, xenobiology, mathematics, philosophy and morality, specifically as outlined within the Sacred Strictures. Scions were also taught early on in martial arts, both hand-to-hand and melee combat, and eventually were trained in military theory, strategy and tactics, training their Void powers, and even studies of the Force. Once they completed their studies, Scions were elevated into one of three branches of the Savant Caste; Templars, Ghosts and Eldars.
