| - (Scene opens on Laia's room, where Laia, Maria Anna, Kirsti, and Cassie are sitting on the floor.) Kirsti: (blinks slowly) I'm bored. Cassie: Me too. (The phone rings. Laia picks up. Cut to an oddly shaped house where HIM is standing.) Laia: (through the phone) Babysitters Club! How can I help you? HIM: Yes, I need a sitter. For tomorrow. I have...a thing. Laia: (through the phone) Can you give me information on the children, sir? HIM: Three five-year-old boys. They have superpowers. Laia: (through the phone) We'll see who's available. Please give us your address. Laia: Who's available tomorrow?

Please give us your address. HIM: First you get the sitter, then I'll tell you. (Cut back to Laia's room, where she holds the phone away.) Laia: Who's available tomorrow? (The remaining three shake their heads.) Kirsti: Convention. Maria Anna: Dentist. Cassie: Dragged to work by Mom. Laia: O...Kay. I'll take it. (To HIM) We have a sitter prepared! Miss Laia Flynn. Where do you live? HIM: Tomorrow, I'll open a portal. I know where you'll be. Laia: Sir, that's a bit creepy. Bye. (Cut to tomorrow. Laia wakes up. Her clock reads eight.) Laia: Crud! I'll get dressed. (Wipe to her in her normal clothes. A portal opens in front of her. She steps through.) HIM: Welcome! I think the boys are upstairs. Call me if you have any questions! (He leaves.) (Laia goes upstairs. We hear yelling and thumping from behind a door. Laia opens it.) Laia: (She sees Brick and Boomer fighting and raises an eyebrow.) Brick: So you're watching us? Laia: Yes. I hear there's another one of you. Boomer: Butch. Brick: (to Boomer) SHUT UP! (to Laia) Yeah. The dimwit's right. For once. (Laia groans) Laia: (to herself) This'll be a looong day. (She goes down to the kitchen and calls HIM.) HIM: (through the phone) What? Laia: Have the boys had anything to eat? HIM: Well, no. Not lunch. Laia: Is it OK if I make some? I can cook. HIM: Sure. All you need to know is (yelling through the phone) DON'T GIVE THEM ANY SUGAR! Laia: OK, geez. (She hangs up and Butch enters.) Butch: Hi.
