The X-750 Force Rifle was an energy weapon created by the Zigarans through reverse engineering of a staff weapon. It resembled a regular staff weapon head fitted onto a standard rifle grip and ran off of a primitive naquadah cell which, though similar to that of a staff weapon's cell, was not interchangeable. After a cell was depleted, it would eject itself automatically and have to be replaced; Zigarans were known to carry around at least five replacements. Perhaps because the Zigarans were not as technologically advanced as the Goa'uld, an occasional error occurred within the weapon where one of the vacuum tubes would burn out and have to be replaced or repaired; the rifle was equipped with a kit capable of repairing two tubes.
