The Nesk were a hivemind race of ant-like creatures that settled on Earth around 65,000,000 B.C. They could come together to form any size creature they'd like when times called for it, like for operating the countless alien machinery they've stolen throughout the galaxy over the years. The Nesk warred with the Mercora, a peaceful race who had also settled on Earth. Right before the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs hit the Earth, they believed the dinosaurs belonged to them, as well as Earth, too, and they couldn't stand other sentient creatures living on it-namely, the Mercora. It is unknown what exactly happened to them, but they may have eventually evolved into the simple modern-day ants of today. They were featured in Megamorphs #2 In the Time of Dinosaurs.
