- Demyx, the Melodious Nocturne (in Japanese: 夜想のしらべ, Yasō no Shirabe, lit. Nocturnal Poem), is the ninth member of Organization XIII and an antagonist in Kingdom Hearts II. He is voiced by Ryan O'Donohue. Demyx is a lazy, irresponsible member of the Organization who wields a sitar in battle, using it to manipulate water and command it in his favor. He is also the commander of the Dancer Nobodies.
- Neuvième membre de l'Organisation XIII, Demyx n'a pas une grande influence dans le groupe et ne montre pas de grandes capacités au combat. C'est un Simili au caractère intrépide, très paresseux, jeune, excentrique dans sa manière d'être, prenant parfois ses missions à la légère,ses missions étant avant tout des missions de recherche pour glaner des informations utiles à l'Organisation XIII. Celui que l'on surnomme « Mélopée Nocturne » doit son nom à son arme peu banale : un instrument de musique, un sitar avec lequel il manipule les forces aquatiques.

Sein Titel lautet Die Melodie der Nacht, was auf seine Waffe, die Sitar, anspielt. Sonst ist Demyx jedoch recht faul und drückt sich gerne vor der Arbeit, die er aufgetragen bekommt. Er scheint außerdem nicht sonderlich interessiert an Kämpfen zu sein, da auch diese Anstrengung und Arbeit bedeuten. Gegenüber Larxene besitzt er eine gewisse Antipathie.
