- Snowtroopers are elite Imperial units that are trained to fight in snowy and cold areas. All snowtroopers, except for the ones in Death Squadron, were all part of the Snowtrooper Corps.

- Snowtroopers, also known as Cold Assault Stormtroopers, are Imperial Stormtroopers trained to operate in arctic climates. Snowtrooper armor is well suited to the climate extremes of the arctic environments that the troopers must work in. Unlike other troopers, Snowtroopers wear a white rugged thermal body glove instead of a black one to provide better camouflage. Over this is an eighteen-piece outer shell altered to include more powerful heating and personal environment units, and an airtight fabric oversuit for additional protection from the cold.
- Snowtroopers were a special type of stormtrooper equipped for colder environments, like the planet Hoth. They were Hero's of the Empire for defeating the Rebels on Hoth and for having the courage to fight in extreme cold environments. They were in fact a bunch of whiny little pussies, they hated cold and hid behind layers of coats and an internal heating system to keep them warm. With that kind of equipment anyone would be able to defeat the poorly equipped rebels, who did not have layers of coats and internal heating systems in their clothes.
