Tarakus took the Tepagastra Sandman through the small asteroid field, dodging as many of the small rocks as he could, and using large ones as shields. "Why did I decide to go through a stupid asteroid field today?" He asked himself as he continued to navigate through the field. Tu'verana was sleeping in one of the cabins in the back, so Tarakus was all alone in the cockpit of the ICT-1600 J. He started humming to a tune that was going through in his head. As the edge of the asteroid field approached, Tarakus reached the climax of the song. A large asteroid suddenly flung itself in front of the ship, making Tarakus leap out of his seat, and yank the ship out of the asteroid's way. • Tarakus took the Tepagastra Sandman through the small asteroid field, dodging as many of the small rocks as he could, and using large ones as shields. "Definitely not like flying through the Gamma Turae System. And that had a lot more asteroids than this." The sudden swerving woke Tu'verana up. She walked out of her cabin, in a green jumpsuit. "Dad, what's going on?" She said, still mentally waking up. "I just had to swerve out of the way of a big-tail asteroid." Tarakus replied, giving Tu'verana an I-did-something-stupid grin. "Nice one, Dad. I'm gonna round up some breakfast." She said, turning around and walking back toward the galley. As she turned around, her tail smacked Tarakus in the face. "Hey, watch where you swing your tail, will ya?!" Tarakus shouted, rubbing where her tail hit. - - - - - -Coruscant As soon as Mirandall shut the door to their hotel room, Piastall took out his datapad and plugged the datacard in. "That is most interesting. Hey, Mirandall, check this out." Piastall called out, as soon as the information came up on the screen. Mirandall came up behind Piastall and looked at the data. "It's some kind of expenses chart. Look at that." Mirandall pointed to something in the corner of the screen. "Recognize that designation?" He asked Piastall. "That's the designation for a planetoid in the Bimmle System. Perhaps we should wait for Tarakus to arrive, then we can go together, and check it out." Piastall said, pushing Mirandall's finger out of the way, with one of his claws. "That's a good idea. Maybe he can also convince those WSIR guys to stop following us, right?" "That's not gonna happen, kid. They're gonna keep following us 'til they get their hands on Tarakus and kill him for the money. I know thw WSIR pretty well. They'll keep to their persistance until something gets finished. That's how they operate." Mirandall shrugged at Piastall's remark, then spotted something that caught his eye. "Hey, Piastall, did you notice who this chart was made out for?" "No. Why?" "Take a look at that." Mirandall said, pointing to initials for an anagram of Lumiya's original name. "By the kriffin' Force, why didn't I see that?" Piastall said, pulling his datapad closer. "It was made out to Brisha Syo, one of Lumiya's alieases. This is too important to keep shut. I wonder if anyone else noticed this?" - - - - - -Bakura System Tu'verana set the Tepagastra Sandman down at a fueling station on Bakura, while Tarakus slept. As she boarded the ship carrying a few crates, she screamed for Tarakus. After a few moments, a groggy Tarakus walked out of his cabin. "Don't you know to keep it down while your dad is sleeping, kid? Oi!" Tarakus said, rubbing his eyes. "I've got several crates full of food and other goods, and I can't take all of them aboard, Dad. I kinda need your help, right now!" "Sorry, sorry. I had no idea we landed. Where are we anyway?" "Bakura, in the Outer Rim." "Wow. I'm quite shocked. Is anyone tailing us?" "Our CGT's been going nuts with cloaked ships, mostly WSIR ships." "Oh, they're real desparate to bring me in, aren't they?!" Tarakus said to primarily to himself, but somewhat directed at Tu'verana. "Why don't you turn yourself in, and make it easier on yourself and them?" "That's a good idea, for them! I refuse to turn myself in, not when I've got half the WSIR after me. I don't care about them right now. I care about finding your mother. I just hope that Mirandall and Piastall might've found another good lead to go on." - - - - - -Coruscant Mirandall tossed and turned in his bed, trying his hardest to fall asleep. But the thought that Lumiya may have been hiding on in the Bimmle System had him too excited to fall asleep. Why is it, that when I get excited about something, that I always have a hard time sleeping? he thought. He looked over at Piastall, who was sleeping like a log. At least he has a much easier time sleeping than I do. Mirandall's comlink went off. He grabbed it, muttering as he messed with it. "This is Korbescht." "Mirandall? It's Tarakus. I'm halfway to Coruscant. I should be at your location in the morning. Did you two find something interesting on Coruscant?" "As a matter of fact, we did. We found this datacard, lying in an abandoned sidestreet, not too far from our hotel. I think we'll wait until you get here, to show it to you." "Can't wait to see you guys, and I can't wait to see what it is you found. Deadmerit out." Mirandall clicked his comlink off, and set it back down by his table. - - - - - - Tarakus landed his ship near Piastall and Mirandall's hotel. As soon as he opened the hatch and ramp, he walked into Tu'verana's cabin, and whipped her head, with his tail. "Dad!" "We're here, sleepy head. It's time to meet up with Faulds and Korbescht. They've got a lead." "Ok, ok, ok, ok. . .I got the message. I'm up now. Oh, my hair. . ." "You can worry about your hair later, Tu'verana. Right now, it's time to meet up with Mirandall and Piastall." As soon as Tu'verana trudged out of her cabin, she and Tarakus walked down the access ramp, and stood near the enterance to the Hotel's landing pad door. Mirandall walked through the door, followed by Piastall, clearly still waking up. "Gee, Piastall. You look like you could use a karaffe of caf." Tarakus said to Piastall. Piastall just nodded in agreement. Mirandall, more awake than Piastall, guided Tarakus and Tu'verana to the hotel room. As soon as they got there, Mirandall pulled out the datacard, and his datapad. He plugged the card in, and showed the screen to Tarakus and Tu'verana. "That's the best lead you guys have yet. The Bimmle System it is. Maybe we'll find her there." Tarakus said, a glimmer of hope in his voice. "This M2X32905 place?" Mirandall asked. Tarakus simply nodded.
