- As Mr. Feeny ends his reading of 'A Christmas Carol', Cory and Shawn make jokes and Mr. Feeny has Topanga switch seats with Cory. With the two troublemakers separated, Mr. Feeny asks Cory's opinion on the story and he summarizes "if you're a real butthead, then neat ghosts will take you to cool places." Suffice to say, Mr. Feeny is not amused.
- Santa's Little Helper is the faithful dog of the family. He is an exclusive Christmas Event character. The fourth character of the Christmas Event to not have jobs, Santa's Little Helper can only be interacted with by tap. Upon tapping him, he will begin to chase his tail, then beg and bark at the player. He is a premium character, costing 150 donuts, and is one of the most expensive premium characters. During the Black Friday 2015 Promotion, players could purchase him with the guarantee that 75 donuts would get refunded (rebated).
- Santa's Little Helper (born March 12) also known as No. 8 (his number in the dog race in Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire), Suds McDuff of America, or Santa's Stupid Name, is the Simpson family's dog. Santa's Little Helper has been with the Simpson's family the whole series instead of dying like other animals have.
- In his first appearance in "Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire", Homer takes the small amount of Christmas money he made working as a Santa at the Springfield Mall and bets it at the dog track. Although Homer has inside information on which dog was going to win, he instead bets on the "long shot," Santa's Little Helper, believing the dog's name to be a sign. Santa's Little Helper finishes last, and his frustrated owner abandons him. Homer and Bart adopt Santa's Little Helper, and everyone is so happy that the family has a merry Christmas after all.
