- There is no spoken dialogue, as the ending is conducted in still pictures with slides inserted with text, in the manner of a black-and-white silent film of the early 1900s. Harry gets off the alien ship, and James Sunderland asks him if he has seen his wife. In turn, Harry asks him if he has seen his daughter. An alien appears and shoots James with some sort of ray-gun, then the alien and Harry drag James away. Harry and the alien share a thumbs-up as the screen fades. The credits roll in the same style as the previous installment.

Whether used in this form or not, their mysterious nature, ability to spirit humans away during Abduction events during which time loss is experienced and vague similarity to the Byakhee would not leave them out of place within The Hastur Mythos and beings similar to them appear in the story The Eleven Thieves.

Their body is typically described as being elongated, and lacking in muscular definition. Their legs are shorter and jointed differently than one would expect in a human, giving them an apparently awkward gait. Their arms often reach down to their knees, and some accounts give them three digits, or three digits and a thumb on each hand. They have a bulbous, hairless head supported by a thin neck, which is dominated by large, (usually black) lidless eyes. They typically have small flat noses, small mouths and no external ears. In some cases, Greys are said to have slit-like nostrils on a flat face. Some accounts have Greys wearing tight neutral colored uniform-like jumpsuits. Other reports have them appearing to be naked.
