Guild Leader: Ilias Summary: House Morchaint was founded in the year of the Sundering, by a Sin'Dorei named Ilias Naur'Sereg, one of Kael'Thas' loyal servants whose family had helped to build Silvermoon. Ilias was only a young ranger when he carried the message to one of the older members of his camp, but his father, Talonis, had been well-known as a powerful mage before he died fighting the Scourge. Ilias' mentor, Olurius, suggested that Ilias also found a house and bring honor to his father's name. Thus, House Morchaint was born.

Ilias chose the name Morchaint for his house because it is the Thalassian word for "a shadow cast by light." As the Blood Elves forsook the name of High Elves in remembrance of their fallen brethren, so would members of his house forsake the Light for the Shadow.
