Along with the Sorian Elite Commandos and Sorian Elite Agents, the first Guards were small bands of well-trained warriors that the ancient Sorian clan leaders kept as bodyguards, champions, and assassins. They were first banded together when the Sorian clans united before the Great Galactic War. At this point the warrior bands were gathered, trained, and christened Royal Guards, official bodyguard of the Sorian High Chieftain.
