The AM7 can also do light damage to vehicles, and though the damage to vehicles is low it can be a nuisance to drivers. It also does moderately high damage to fighters and some damage to Liberators, and can kill base turrets with just three magazines. Overall this weapon is rather situational but in the hands of a skilled player can become a significant support weapon. It is important to have friendly troops nearby who can engage enemy troops, as you will not be able to effectively. Something strange to note with this weapon is that its short reload is actually longer than its long reload, due to the chamber time being incorporated with the long reload animation.
