  • The World's Oldest Woman and Lucky Bob, two characters prominently featured on Histeria!, notably debuted in Animaniacs segments that aired years before Histeria! premiered. A few (but not all) of the historical caricatures from Animaniacs were notably also reused for Histeria!
  • Histeria! is an American animated series created by Tom Ruegger and produced by Warner Bros. Animation. Unlike other animated series produced by Warner Bros. in the 1990s, Histeria! stood out as the most explicitly educational program in order to meet FCC requirements for educational/informational content for children. , but due to being $10 million over budget[citation needed] Histeria! has since became a cult favorite, gaining a modest fandom; fan-creations can be found on the Internet and at fansites.
  • One season (52 of the planned 65) of episodes were produced before the show was cancelled over budget concerns (i.e. being $10 million over it), then were repeated numerous times for the next three seasons before being taken off the network in 2001. Unlike its predecessors, Histeria! did not reappear in syndication on Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon. The show would've been forgotten altogether (But not by us!) if not for the fact that, in 2006, it reappeared as part of the initial lineup of Time Warner's In2TV channel until they were inexplicably removed in January 2009.
