DREADWIND is a heroic and upbeat Decepticon. Not everyone can make the relentless war instigated by Optimus Prime fun, but Dreadwind certainly does his best. As morale officer of the Decepticon army, he does his best to cheer up the troops and keep everyone positive. On his off hours he forms a comedic duo with his equally jovial friend Darkwind. Together they play court jester to Prime's tyrannical rule, mocking him in pirated broadcasts and to sold-out crowds in hidden clubs. In order to drum up excitement for the possibility of the war moving to Earth, Dreadwind had himself rebuilt into a General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon jet.
