- Seven years have passed since Sei Iori won the 7th Gunpla Battle Championship World Tournament and, in present day, the Gunpla Battle has new rules and new battle modes that make the game's popularity even more widespread. However, the Seiho Academy that Sei Iori once attended has failed to catch onto the trend and the only member of the school's Gunpla Battle Club is its president, middle schooler Fumina Hoshino. There is no way the school's club can participate in the middle and high-school division of the upcoming All-Japan Gunpla Battle Championship, where players fight in teams of three, but then Fumina meets a new transfer student named Sekai Kamiki, a young martial artist who has been traveling with his master. Together with a young Gunpla builder named Yuuma Kousaka, they finally have three members for their team.
- The Universal Century, a history marked by space colonization and space warfare, has passed. Humanity's prosperity has ushered in a new era of global peace known as the Regild Century. Bellri Zenam, a pilot training with the Capital Guard, is chosen by the G-Self—a highly maneuverable Mobile Suit of unknown origin, operable only by a select few—to embark on a journey that will change the course of the Regild Century forever.
- Mankind had migrated to space colonies several centuries ago with wars on Earth having long ended, but suddenly an unknown enemy begins attacking Earth and the colonies, starting an all out war. Flit Asuno, a seven-year-old boy at the time, had his mother killed in an attack people called "The Day the Angel Fell". Before she died, she gave him the Asuno family heirloom—the "AGE Device " memory unit. Using plans hidden within this unit, Flit begins to develop the mobile suit "Gundam", humanity's last hope.
- Set in C.E. 73, two years after the peace treaty between ZAFT and the Earth Alliance was signed in Gundam SEED, members of the Earth Alliance special task force known as Phantom Pain hi-jack three advanced mobile suits from a ZAFT armoury base during a meeting between Orb representative Cagalli Yula Athha and new ZAFT chairman Gilbert Durandal. What begins as a pursuit of this band of Extended Naturals by Orb refugee Shinn Asuka, Athrun Zala, and the crew of the Minerva, escalates into cataclysmic circumstances which lead to the declaration of yet another war.
- Gundam Wing with the start of Operation Meteor, the scientists' plan for revenge against the OZ military organization. The operation involves five young boys who have each been chosen and trained by one of the five rogue scientists, then sent to Earth independently in extremely advanced Mobile Suits, one designed by each of the scientists, known as "Gundams". The five Gundam Pilots — Heero Yuy , Duo Maxwell , Trowa Barton , Quatre Raberba Winner, and Chang Wufei — originally have no knowledge of each others' existence. On first meeting any of the other five, each pilot believes the others to be enemy pilots in new OZ mobile suit designs. Once the young pilots realize that they have the same objective of destroying OZ , they band together to help each other complete their goals.
- This series begins with a war between Earth and the colonies that is similar to the One Year War of the original Gundam series with certain traditional elements from New Mobile Report Gundam Wing and After War Gundam X. On one side is the Earth Alliance, and on the opposite is the space colonies that form ZAFT . Mankind is divided over human genetic engineering, with normal humans known as 'Naturals' and the genetically altered humans known as 'Coordinators'. Like the original series, ZAFT has a head start on mobile suit design, the Earth Alliance quickly catches up with its five prototype Gundam’s. With ZAFT having stolen four of the prototypes, young pilot Kira Yamato takes the Strike Gundam and is forced to fight his old friend Athrun Zala. Little do they know that there are sinister forces at work that go far beyond their worst nightmares...
- Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ takes place after Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam's final episode and follows the story of the Anti Earth Union Group battleship Argama. Bright Noa has recruited a group of teenagers to fight the Axis Zeon with the ship's mobile suits. Nicknamed the Gundam Team, this became the first of a number of Gundam series where a team of Gundam mobile suits fight alongside each other regularly.
- Turn A Gundam follows the story of Rolan, a recruit of the Moonrace, who was sent to Earth on a recon mission for the later Moonrace massive migration back to Earth. With aggressive parties of Moonrace and Earthlings, a war soon broke out between the migrants and the current residents of the area called Ameria, which the Moonrace claimed to be theirs since their ancestors once lived there. Rolan became an active member of the Earth's militia forces with his skills of piloting the white doll, ∀ Gundam, wanting to settle the conflict between Earth and Moon. While doing so, he discovers more and more history of the past and why the technology deteriorated so much on Earth.
- Mobile Suit Gundam takes place in Universal Century 0079, a time when the Principality of Zeon has declared its independence from the Earth Federation, and subsequently launched a massive war of independence that has had an impact on Earth and nearly every space colony and lunar settlement. The Zeon have the upper hand through their use of humanoid like mobile suits, but, when a Zeon recon team disobey mission orders and begin attacking Side 7, its citizens stumble across the Federation's latest weapon: the Gundam. With the aid of Earth Federation soldiers, a newly formed crew of refugees set out to change the course of the One Year War — or die trying.
- Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam takes place seven years after the events of Mobile Suit Gundam, and the Earth Federation has established a division called the Titans to hunt down the remaining pockets of Zeon remnants. The Titans have become to overzealous in this mission and have resorted to brutal methods, and anti-Titan resistance groups have formed in response. A war between the Titans and one of the anti-Titans group, AEUG, begins, but it soon becomes a three-way war when Axis Zeon decides to join.
- Rather than having a war between the colonies and the Earth, a fighting tournament is held. This is called the Gundam Fight, it is held once every four years by the United Colonies Federation. Each country would send its own representative, that would pilot a Gundam, and the Gundams would then fight on the Earth until only one is left, and that Gundam's nation will then be able to obtain sovereign rights over all the nations, until another nation wins in the next Gundam Fight. Mobile Fighter G Gundam focuses on the Neo Japan Gundam Fighter Domon Kasshu, who is in the fight as much to win as well as fulfill his own mission of tracking down his brother, who had stolen a mysterious Gundam; the Devil Gundam from the Neo Japan government.
- Taking place after the events of Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ, ''Mobile Suit Victory Gundam" follows the greatly weakened Earth Federation which comes under attack by the BESPA forces of the spaceborn Zanscare Empire. Only the AEUG-like League Militaire stands in their way, and the mass-produced Victory Gundam is the League Militaire's secret weapon against the invading BESPA.
