Jingal and Humm are two alien scientists and explorers of an unnamed species native to the galaxy next to the Jurassic Quadrant (possibly Andromeda) who ended up stranded on a mysterious planet. They were attacked by the Guardian underground and exposed to time-water, causing them to age at an unnaturally fast rate. Fortunately their species was long-lived, so the pair spent their time underground searching for a cure and feeding the baby allosaurus who were left on the planet by Vice-Marshal Frentos.

Fortunately their species was long-lived, so the pair spent their time underground searching for a cure and feeding the baby allosaurus who were left on the planet by Vice-Marshal Frentos. Teggs, Gipsy, and Iggy, together with an Arx who had also been splashed with time-water by the Guardian, met the aliens while fleeing Frentos and was taken to their ship, where Humm and Jingal explained their plight. Teggs realized that the reason that Arx and the aliens had been affected differently was due to the water's temperature and tricked Frentos into being splashed with cold time-water, causing him to age. Before the final encounter with the allosaurus leader the two aliens used buckets of time-water to restore themselves to their normal ages, and after Frentos's defeat they returned home.
