Shawi is an elderly woman who lives on the planet of Arkhanta who leads the nearest town to the Scarlet Citadel. In the 29th issue the girls tried to enter the Scarlet Citadel by joining a feast in honor of their ruler Ari, they met Shawi while wondering around the town of Urdath. She asked the girl's to help them prepare the black grapes. Later the girls ask her how Ari became famous and the legend of the banshees. When Ari send a hurricane Shawi together with her people were taken by the guardians under a fault to save them from the disaster. In the end Shawi and the people of Urdath suffered great lost but the Oracle told the girls that the inhabitants of urdath and soon they will rebuild their town.
