| - The nation of Anglesey and Man is within the union of Britannia, and is a dominion of the British Union. The nation was formed in the aftermath of the Yellowstone Eruption of 1936, following the collapse of the United Kingdom and the eventual evacuation of the British Isles. The nation was officially formed through a union between the Isle of Man to the north and the Welsh Isle of Anglesey, known natively as Ynys Môn. The nation was jointly ruled by Tynwald of Man and a legislative government on the island of Anglesey up to the year 1959, when the government was moved solely to the island of Anglesey due to the approaching ice sheets. The Isle of Man was largely evacuated and abandoned by then, eventually being completely engulfed by glacier movement. Today the Isle of Man lives on in Anglesey, through the large Manx population that fled south, the continual traditions of Manx symbols, and the combined state legislation based on the government of Man. Following its formation the nation of Anglesey and Man laid claim to the historical lands of the Kingdom of Mann and the Isles, partially facilitating the evacuation of the Shetland Islands, Orkney Islands, and Hebrides. These areas would remain heavily tied to the nation of Anglesey and Man for years after word, and continue to be claimed by the nation despite the approaching glacier sheet engulfing much of those areas. Before the Yellowstone Eruption the Isle of Man was a crown dependency of the United Kingdom, while Anglesey was part of Wales. The Isle of Man first became under the control of the British after a period of alternating rule by the kings of Scotland and England, in which the island came under the feudal lordship of the English Crown in 1399. The lordship revested into the British Crown in 1765, but the island never became part of the kingdom of Great Britain or its successor the United Kingdom, retaining its status as an internally self-governing Crown dependency. The nation of Wales remained a part of the United Kingdom from 1542 through the Laws in Wales Acts 1535 and 1542 (Welsh: Y Deddfau Cyfreithiau yng Nhgymru 1535 a 1542) to the Yellowstone Eruption, eventually collapsing, much like the other nations of the United Kingdom, during the mass evacuation of the British Isles.
