This is the only Dungeoneering melee equipment that cannot be smithed, as no matching ore exists. Primal equipment can only be obtained by receiving it as a drop from the bosses within Daemonheim as the monsters can only drop up to Promethium. It is not recommended to bind the gauntlets and boots because there is only a small difference to the promethium gauntlets/boots and since you can bind 10 items at a time, but you can only use a maximum of 5 bound items at a time (and since the set altogether is hard to obtain), the weapons and more benefiting armour (platebody, platelegs) are better off than with the gauntlets and boots. Players trying to obtain primal equipment should activate hard mode if they have completed the elite Daemonheim tasks, as their chance of receiving tier 99 gear is significantly higher with hard mode active.
