Since the 1.69 patch, customizing the appearance of your character and equipment has never been easier. While it was never necessary to take points in Craft Armor, those with Craft Weapon were able to make a pretty penny customizing the appearance of weapons. However, even the original Neverwinter Nights crafting system had severe limitations. Due to a major addition, all of the functionality of Distorted Mirrors has been added to the player craft menu, with no gold costs, crafting DCs, or the well known lag from similar menu driven functions. Thus, it is now possible to change your appearance on the fly; though, it should be noted that this does not qualify as being disguised.

  • The Italian Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze could dye his clothing in the tailor shops located throughout the cities he visited, although the possible color schemes depended on which city he was in. Ezio could always switch back to the default Assassin white scheme for free, though after buying a dye, it would not remain unlocked. This meant that if Ezio wished to switch back to a dye after buying a different one, it had to be purchased again. Constantinople also had new dyes to offer, though they did not vary from district to district, with all being available from any Tailor shop.

This meant that if Ezio wished to switch back to a dye after buying a different one, it had to be purchased again. In Rome, there were new dyes available, with each district, except for the Vatican, offering new colors. Also, instead of the colors always matching, both the outfit and cape could be dyed separately. In addition, the colors of Ezio's Assassin recruits could be changed, though once an Apprentice reached the rank of Assassino, the only dye that was available to them was "Assassin White". The cape's color would change accordingly to the dye it was last changed to before reaching Assassino rank. Constantinople also had new dyes to offer, though they did not vary from district to district, with all being available from any Tailor shop. Dyes often had a common characteristic, which was displayed by a prefix on their names, which stated where the dye originated from. Some of these prefixes were: * "Florentine" for Florence. * "Tuscan" for Tuscany. * "Wetlands" for Romagna. * "Venetian" for Venice. * "Roman" for Rome. |-|Constantinople= * Original Grey * Aegean Silver * Egyptian Blue * Syrian Ash * Cappadocian Amber * Yemen Copper * Caspian Teal * Janissary Green * Aegean Marble * Topkapı Gold * Royal Violet * Byzantium Red * Mediterranean Cobalt * Bosnian Indigo * Masyaf White
