The 1955-39 was a Grand National (now Sprint Cup) event held at Greenville-Pickens Speedway on October 6, 1955. Jim Reed appeared to have won the event, but a technical violation took him out of victory lane. Instead, it was eventual 1955 champ Tim Flock inheriting the win, although he had been one lap behind Reed when the race ended. Stats
