- The Togrutas had skin colors ranging from orange to shades of pink. A series of white markings also adorned parts of the face and the projections from their heads known as montrals. These montrals appeared similar to the lekkus of Twi'leks and the tendrils that Nautolans possess. However, unlike Twi'leks and Nautolans, Togruta montrals were not fleshy and did not contain portions of brain or sensory glands; rather they were hallow and made of bone.

- The Togruta were a sentient species from the planet Shili. They were characterized by their colorful skin tones, large montrals and head tails, white facial pigments, and thirst for war. Although Shili was their homeworld, they also had a colony of some 50,000 individuals on the planet Kiros. Some well known Togruta were the Jedi Master Shaak Ti as well as the Padawan Ahsoka Tano.
- The Togrutas were a species of red or orange human-looking people with big head-tails like the Twi'leks. Also like the Twi'leks, the female Togrutas were quite hot, maybe not as hot as Twi'lek females, but hot nonetheless. Hell, when you think about it, I don't think I have ever seen a male Togruta in canon before, so maybe they were just an all female species (like the asari). The Togrutas came from a relatively unimportant planet called Shili.

- Many beings believed that the Togrutas were venomous, a belief that stemmed from the fang-like appearance of their front teeth, but this was not true. This belief was started when an individual first witnessed a Togruta feeding on a Thimiar, which writhed in its death throes as if poisoned after being bitten. However, instead of injecting their prey with poison, Togrutas preferred to consume their prey while it was still alive.

Togrutas were also distinguished by montrals, large hollow horn-like projections from the top of their heads, that gave the species a form of passive echolocation.
- Average Height: 1.8 meters Average Lifespan: 100 years Togruta have a somewhat average build, height and weight, but their physical 'normalcy' ends there. Their skin ranges in color from a deep maroon, to a bright red-orange, with unusual markings on their face. Large circles of white skin surround their eyes, with red coloring making small 'eyebrow' markings within these circles. Their lips, outward curved horns, and lekku (or head-tails) are also white-- but these are marked with angular black stripes. Unlike Twi'leks, Togruat have three lekku, two which hang forward over their shoulders, and one which hangs down their back.
