| - Paul I Philip is the current King of Romanians and also Prince of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen. He was born on 13 August 1948 in Bucharest, Romania. He is the son of then Prince Charles (later King Charles III) of Romania and his first wife, Helena Henriette Navigatzine. He became King of Romania upon the death of his father on 27 January 2006 and has reigned since. His paternal half-uncle, Prince Michael of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen, has objected to his reign, and claims the throne, but he has refrained from putting force behind his claims (as opposed to what he did when Charles III refused to make him heir in the 1950's).
