You Devil (1984), Chances Are (1989), and NYPD Mounted (1991). Including his appearances on Night Court, his TV acting career included the television programs, The Nurses, The Bob Newhart Show, Welcome Back, Kotter, House Calls, The A-Team, The Fall Guy with co-star Markie Post, St. Elsewhere, Mr. Belvedere, and Wiseguy. Garner was also a talented stage actor appearing in several productions. A veteran of World War II, he served in the United States Navy. Garner passed away in Englewood, New Jersey, at the age of 74.
