Synopsis
  • A drive by shooting at a mall leaves a Superboy impersonator dead. Sam Makoa knows it was the Silicon Dragons, gunning for the real SB, and that they've finally brought out their big guns. The real Superboy is making a guest appearance on Hollywood Tonight where he admits that he's canceled his world tour in favor of being the self proclaimed "Hero of Hawaii"--Tana is thrilled, Roxy is not, and Rex is just trying to handle some financial problems with a Mr. Gambolli. The news breaks about the death of the impersonator, and SB is crushed, since he was supposed to have been there but canceled at the very last moment. He takes off from the studio, Tana, Dubbilex, and the rest follow in a helicopter. Makoa and his agents track the gunmen to the pier, but are assaulted by a man named Techno who can create VR simulations. He uses it to get Makoa's men all shooting at each other until SB shows up. Of course, Techno puts him through a series of imaginary images which causes him to do unwitting damage to the surroundings, even the helicopter and its passengers. Luckily, Dubbilex breaks through and pulls him to his senses, at least for a moment. Roxy steps in at this point and decks Techno, giving Superboy the window he needs to short out the crook's suit and catch him. Makoa comments to Roxy that she might make a good cop. Afterwards, Superboy attends the funeral of the impersonator, where the boy's mother slaps him and chews him out over not being there. He goes home feeling terrible, and things aren't helped when some bulldog looking guy with a badge shows up and threatens to put him under arrest.
