Judea, sometimes referred to as Palestine, was one of the most troubled areas among the former provinces of the Roman Empire during the age of the Empire. It became part of Aegyptus after the Empire disintegrated and was later divided by the Kingdom of Aegyptus and the Kingdom of Asia.
