Benjamin Walter Gardner (1865-13 January 1948) was a Labour Party politician in West Ham. He was an alderman of West Ham Corporation, and served as Mayor of West Ham for 1924-25. He was elected as member of parliament for West Ham, Upton at the 1923 general election he lost his seat when another election was held in the following year. He regained the seat the 1929 general election but lost it in 1931. He returned to parliament as Upton's MP in 1934, holding the seat until 1945. Granted the freedom of West Ham [1].
