Synopsis
| - While Batman is doubling for Superman in the latter’s absence, Lois sees him change into his Bruce Wayne identity, concludes that Bruce is Superman, and connives to marry him.
- Lois Lane borrows a time-machine from Professor Potter, goes back to Krypton before its destruction, and tries to romance Jor-El before he can marry Lara.
- Two aliens give Lois a serum that endows her with invulnerability, but she takes the antidote after having a vision in which it induces her to kill Superman and frame Lana Lang.

quotation
| - Hm... Young Jor-El resembles Superman! If I can't marry the son, how about the father? I've changed fate once... Why not twice?
