Ivan Aleksandrovich Kuskov (Russian: Иван Александрович Кусков) was a senior assistant to Alexander Baranov, the Chief Administrator of the Russian-American Company. Kuskov was the leading administrator in the establishment of the Ross Colony, and is regarded as the founding father of Ross and Sonoma. Kuskov was born in 1765 in the Russian town of Totma. Kuskov died in 1823 outside of Ross.
